Why is it important to work with the Root Chakra ?

Vibrations of first chakra connect us to the physical world. The Root Chakra is associated with constancy, everything earthly and material. Being the basis of our earthly existence, the first chakra charges all the other chakras, takes energy from the earth and transfers it to higher levels, to the next chakras. This is why it is so important not to forget to work with it - it exerts a strong influence on the work of our other energy centres.

We need the flow of energy in this area for a happy journey through life in the here and now and to find ourselves in the material world with the arranged energy of money and abundance of physical things.

The Base Chakra gives a sense of security, sure ground, provides the energy needed for creative thinking and action, provides drive and perseverance. Responsible for health, career, money, will to live, connection to Mother Earth, inner forces and energy for action. It is the centre of your vitality. Opens you up to receiving and finding yourself in the material life, to abundance and a sense of life as something good and wonderful. A sense that everything you need to survive is provided for you.

At this level it is worth asking ourselves: does the world serve me ? Do I find the world bad and violent ? Is the god who created it good or rather not ?

The emotions that most influence this chakra are: a sense of security, a feeling of inner strength, but also innocence. These are emotions that have a positive effect on the chakra. However, if our thoughts host helplessness, fear and guilt, the chakra will not function properly.

The base chakra is also affected by thoughts related to satisfying material needs, such as earning money, going on a trip or buying a new car.

Here, our thoughts are important: is money clean or dirty ? Is money good or bad ? Am I at peace with money or am I not at peace with it ? What do I think about rich people ? What are my beliefs about money ? Am I worthy of accepting money ? Am I open to abundance ?

Lion is in the position of being the most tenacious fighter in the face of life's challenges. It represents courage and strength in overcoming difficulties.
